The Wichita County Indians volleyball squad (Leoti, KS), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs (Haxtun, CO)

With the win, Haxtun improves its record to 1-0 on the season.

The Indians now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Syracuse for a battle on Tuesday, September 10. Wichita County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wichita County (Leoti, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
