Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Beecher moves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Clifton Central (Clifton, IL) to clash with the Comets in a River Valley test on Monday, September 9. The Comets come into the test with a record of 3-2. Clifton Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL)

The Comets now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peotone for a Illinois Central Eight test on Tuesday, September 10. Reed-Custer will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-5.
