Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Charlotte Lab School Lions (Charlotte, NC), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Sugar Creek advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mariners in a Metro Eight 1A test on Tuesday, September 10. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 2-4. Jackson Day won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Carolina Christian (Locust, NC)

The Lions now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Queen's Grant for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Charlotte Lab School will clash with a Stallions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-3.
