The Herron Achaeans soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Southwestern Spartans to 1 in the Achaeans non-league victory on Friday.
The Achaeans now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter for a Indiana Crossroads bout on Tuesday, September 10. Herron will play a Raiders squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Pike (Indianapolis, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Southwestern moves to 6-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Greensburg (Greensburg, IN) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, September 9.
