St. John's Prep Johnnies (Collegeville, MN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, St. John's Prep moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Johnnies travel to Melrose (Melrose, MN) to clash with the Dutchmen in a Class A Section 8 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Dutchmen come into the test with a record of 2-3. Melrose won 4-0 in their recent league test against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)

The Comets now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Detroit Lakes for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10.
