North Carolina High School Soccer - Lee Park Prep knocks off Walnut Grove Christian

The Lee Park Prep Knights soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Walnut Grove Christian Christian Warriors to 2 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fletcher for a Metro Area Athletic bout on Tuesday, September 10. Lee Park Prep will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 league win over NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Walnut Grove Christian moves to 0-2 on the year. The Christian warriors travel to Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
