Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN) and the host Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions (Bloomington, IN), saw Shoals's soccer squad hold off Lighthouse Christian Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Jug Rox (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN). The Vikings enter the Blue Chip battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Barr-Reeve was edged by Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Tabernacle Christian Eagles (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 9. Lighthouse Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Crosspointe Christian Academy (Indianapolis, IN).
