The Rondout Valley Ganders soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Webutuck Warriors to 1 in the Ganders non-league victory on Friday.
The Ganders now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marlboro Central for a Section 9 Division II bout on Friday, September 6.
With the loss, Webutuck moves to 0-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 0-0. Pine Plains 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Millbrook (Millbrook, NY)
