In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bristow Pirates softball team scored a tight 12-6 win over the Amber-Pocasset Panthers.

The Pirates (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Cardinals come into the non-league match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, Verdigris nipped Newcastle (Newcastle, OK), 10-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Amber-Pocasset will attempt to better on its 3-17 season record. The Redskins come into the match with a 12-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Bristow (Bristow, OK).
