The Bear Creek Bears softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Brighton Bulldogs to 6 in the Bears non-league win on Friday.

The Bears now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand Junction Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. Bear Creek will confront a Warriors team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 5-3.
