In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Ponca Indians softball team scored a nice 12-4 win over the Bryan Bears.

The Indians (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Ralston (Ralston, NE). The Rams come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Ralston notched a victory over Platteview (Springfield, NE), 14-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 7. Bryan will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Links come into the match with a 1-6 record after their 11-0 league loss to Kearney (Kearney, NE).
