The Papillion-LaVista South Titans softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Grand Island Islanders to 1 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Papillion-LaVista for a A District battle on Tuesday, September 10. Papillion-LaVista South will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Grand Island moves to 1-10 on the season. The Islanders host Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Knights in a A District battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-5. Lincoln Southeast lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Gretna (Gretna, NE)
