Colorado High School Softball - Lamar bounces Sand Creek

The Lamar Thunder softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Sand Creek Scorpions to 3 in the Thunder non-league win on Friday.

The Thunder now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. Lamar will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 18-7 league win over Denver East (Denver, CO). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Sand Creek moves to 4-3 on the season. The Scorpions travel to Canon City (Canon City, CO) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 4-3. Canon City won 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO)
