Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Central City Value Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Port of Los Angeles improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Polar Bears travel to Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA) to face the Monarchs in a Coliseum test on Monday, September 9. The Monarchs go into the test with a record of 1-2.

The Jaguars now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Angeles for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Central City Value will face a Romans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Dr. Maya Angelou Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Romans record now stands at 4-0.
