In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Deer Valley Skyhawks.

The Aztecs (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ). The Stallions enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Shadow Ridge was beaten by Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Skyhawks meet the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Deer Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ).
