In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rancho Dominguez Lobos volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Fairfax Lions.
The Lobos (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Regents come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Reseda beat Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Monday, September 9. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Unicorns come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).
