The Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) volleyball held off the host Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX), 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 17-11 record. They play next when they host Guyer for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10.

With the loss, Lone Star drops to 13-9 on the campaign. The Rangers host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10.
