In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Marion Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Luling Eagles.

The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Poth (Poth, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Poth was beaten by Cuero (Cuero, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Luling will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Austin Achieve (Austin, TX).
