The Maricopa Rams edged the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Rams confront the Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 7. Maricopa will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Jackrabbits go into the game with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cibola (Yuma, AZ).

The Pride (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Highland nudged Chandler (Chandler, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league game.
