With the win, Wilson advances its record to 9-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Adams (Dallas, TX) to face the Cougars in a 5A Region II District 12 test on Friday, September 13. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 6-5.

The Longhorns now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a 5A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, September 10. White will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-8.
