Virginia High School Volleyball - West Springfield over James River Midlothian

The West Springfield Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host James River Midlothian Rapids to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

Next up, the Spartans confront the J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. West Springfield will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers come into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).

With the loss, James River Midlothian drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Rapids host Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. The Knights enter the game with a record of 0-3. Thomas Dale lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)
