The Waconia Wildcats football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Apple Valley Eagles to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Chanhassen for a Northstar - South Gold test on Friday, September 12. Waconia will face a Storm team coming off a 65-0 non-league win over Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Storm record now stands at 2-0.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Two Rivers bounced Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN), 35-20, in a non-league test.
