    The Cypress Park Tigers football team (Cypress, TX), was crushed 56-20 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Cy-Fair Bobcats (Cypress, TX)

    With the win, Cy-Fair advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Dickinson (Dickinson, TX) to confront the Gators in a non-league contest on Friday, September 12. The Gators enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Dickinson won 47-40 in their recent non-league contest against King (Houston, TX)

    Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Cypress Park will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 17-14 non-league loss to Clear Springs (League City, TX).
