The Hozho Academy Wolves football team (Gallup, NM), was tipped 24-20 in Saturday's non-league bout with the host Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM)

With the win, Legacy Academy advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Silverbacks host Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to encounter the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Santa Fe Indian lost 10-6 in their recent non-league contest against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM)

Coming up next, the Wolves confront the Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Hozho Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 37-6 non-league loss to Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM).
