Washington High School Football - Sammamish prevails Putnam

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Sammamish RedHawks football squad scored a good 41-14 triumph over the Putnam Kingsmen.

The RedHawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Newport - Bellevue went down by Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA), 38-7, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Kingsmen meet the St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Putnam will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 44-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Gresham, OR).
