Colorado High School Football - Horizon beat Chatfield

September 6, 2025: Thornton, CO 80602

The Horizon Hawks football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Chatfield Chargers to 14 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Castle View for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Horizon will face a Sabercats team coming off a 28-8 non-league win over Chaparral (Parker, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 2-0.

The Chargers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO). The Raptors enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Eaglecrest fell by Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO), 44-23, in a non-league game.
