Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), 24-6 in a non-league test.
The Highlanders now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hackensack for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13.
With the defeat, Wayne Valley drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ) to meet the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Hornets go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
