In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Joseph Academy Jaguars volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Avon Lake Shoremen.

The Jaguars (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record.

The Shoremen now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avon for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
