Classical Academy Caimans (Escondido, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Caimans (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Granite Hills lost by Poway (Poway, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Broncos now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Costa Canyon for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Rancho Bernardo will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-0.
