In their next game, the Flames face the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Lodi will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Bruins come into the outing with a 2-7 record after their 24-0 non-league win over Johansen (Modesto, CA).

With the defeat, Chavez drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Titans host Bear Creek (Stockton, CA) to clash with the Bruins in a San-Joaquin Athletic Association outing on Monday, September 8. The Bruins come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Bear Creek won 19-6 in their recent league outing against Tokay (Lodi, CA)
