The Mayfield Trojans the visiting Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls soccer team by a tally of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Trojans face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Mayfield will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 5-2 non-league win over St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
The Cavemen/Cavegirls (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Los Alamos held off Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 1-0, in a non-league game.
