The White Bear Lake Bears soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Lakeville South Cougars to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bears now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Woodbury for a Class AA Section 4 game on Tuesday, September 9. White Bear Lake will face a Royals team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Royals record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Lakeville South moves to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN) to play the Sabers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Shakopee won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN)
