Shalom Christian Academy Flames (Chambersburg, PA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host New Covenant Christian Flames (Lebanon, PA), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Flames (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA). The Squires go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.

Next up, the Flames confront the Christian School of York (York, PA) in a Commonwealth Christian outing, on Monday, September 8. New Covenant Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to Harrisburg Christian (Harrisburg, PA).
