Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN) and the host St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN), saw Roosevelt's soccer squad hold off St. Louis Park by a count of 2-1.
The Teddies (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Simley tipped North (North St. Paul, MN), 6-0, in a non-league match.
The Orioles now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Chanhassen for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 9. St. Louis Park will meet a Storm team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Storm record now stands at 3-1.
