The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maple Heights for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. Boardman will face a Mustangs team coming off a 42-16 non-league win over Lorain (Lorain, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

The Cowboys (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, West Branch ran past Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH), 48-8, in a non-league challenge.
