Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) boosters left the game content Saturday as they observed their football squad top the visiting Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Glenbard West will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Storm go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).

The Hilltoppers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL). The Friars come into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Fenwick went down by Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 18-6, in a non-league test.
