The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Apollo notched a victory over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers (Harned, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 6. Daviess County will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
