With the win, La Costa Canyon improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Pointers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Pointers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Point Loma won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA)

The Eagles now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Point Loma for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Granite Hills will face a Pointers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Pointers record now stands at 11-6.
