In Saturday's non-league match, the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), by a count of 2-1.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 11. Perkins will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record.

The Flyers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Otsego for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9.
