In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) soccer squad nipped the host Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO), by a margin of 3-2.
The Terriers now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Poplar Bluff for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Carbondale will encounter a Mules squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IL). The Mules record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Central drops to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Farmington (Farmington, MO) to battle the Knights in a Southeast Missouri contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Knights enter the contest with a record of 1-0.
