In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Wheaton Academy Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Chicago University Maroons.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave come into the Chicagoland Christian test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, St. Edward by Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL), 5-0, in a non-league test.
The Maroons now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Forest Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Chicago University will play a Caxys squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Mather (Chicago, IL). The Caxys record now stands at 4-2.
