The Clayton Clippers soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Gloucester City Lions to 1 in the Clippers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Clippers now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a Tri-County - Classic game on Monday, September 8.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ). The Panthers enter the Colonial game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Collingswood by Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ), 3-1, in a league game.
