The DeForest Norskies soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Madison Memorial Spartans to 1 in the Norskies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Norskies now have a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baraboo for a Badger - Large game on Tuesday, September 9. DeForest will face a Thunderbirds team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to McFarland (McFarland, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-2.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Middleton (Middleton, WI). The Cardinals come into the Big Eight game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Middleton edged Oregon (Oregon, WI), 3-2, in a non-league game.
