The Fairless Falcons soccer team (Navarre, OH), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league match with the visiting Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH)
The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Ravenna (Ravenna, OH). The Ravens enter the Metro Athletic battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Ravenna tipped McKinley (Niles, OH), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Falcons now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manchester for a Principals Athletic match on Monday, September 8. Fairless will meet a Panthers team coming off a 0-0 league Orrville (Orrville, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
