In Saturday's league test, the visiting Fremont Packers soccer team scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Newaygo Lions.
With the triumph, Fremont advances its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Packers travel to Grant (Grant, MI) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Grant lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Kent City (Kent City, MI)
The Lions now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Big Rapids for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Newaygo will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Whitehall (Whitehall, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-7.
