Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) and the host Northwood Rangers (Northwood, OH), saw Genoa Area's soccer squad knock off Northwood by a score of 3-0.

The Comets (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Otsego (Tontogany, OH). The Knights come into the Northern Buckeye test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Otsego by Bowsher (Toledo, OH), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Rangers now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Northwood will play a Rockets squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Sandusky (Sandusky, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 4-3.
