In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the South Bend Washington Panthers.
The Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage Christian (Dyer, IN). The Defenders enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana Soccer Conf test, on Tuesday, September 9. South Bend Washington will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Kingsmen come into the test with a 7-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Warsaw (Warsaw, IN).
