Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) fans were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 5-0 in a non-league bout.
The Ramblers now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Providence Catholic for a Chicago Catholic bout on Tuesday, September 9. Loyola Academy will play a Celtics squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 4-2.
The Giants (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Glenbrook South got by St. Patrick (Chicago, IL), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
