The Hoover Vikings held off the visiting Walsh Jesuit Warriors soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to GlenOak for a Federal bout on Tuesday, September 9. Hoover will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Walsh Jesuit moves to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH) to face the Stallions in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Stallions come into the game with a record of 5-2. St. Francis DeSales won 4-2 in their recent league game against St. Charles (Columbus, OH)
