The Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 4-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Lancers now hold a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheaton North for a DuKane contest on Tuesday, September 9. Lake Park will battle a Falcons team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-4.
The Saxons (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos enter the Mid-Suburban - West contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Barrington held off Streamwood (Streamwood, IL), 1-0, in a non-league contest.
